Lets kick off 2025 with a cute baby dragon. Who doesn't love an adorable new hatchling? For this one I have to go back in time to a baby dragon from my past.
This month we have Norbert!
I know, Norbert, the Norwegian Ridgeback, is not a major character in the Harry Potter series, but I'm sure I'm not alone in wishing
that he was.
Come on Rowling, maybe a side book in his POV? That would be amazing right?
Anyway, this cute guy is my pick for February dragon of the month. He brings out the curious nature of our young heroes about magical creatures and let's us see the nurturing and protective side of Hagrid.
Everyone joins together to protect this precious baby. In the end the characters have to decide between what is right for them, or right for the dragon.
With his cute coughing flame fits and floppy wings, what's not to love about Norbert? I'm sure I am not alone in feeling like these Harry Potter books and characters inspired me. Norbert the tiny Ridgeback included.
