A Bit About ME

Hello there!

My name is Meagan Poetschlag and I live in the great state of Arizona, near Tucson, with my husband, daughter, and a slew of pets. I love nature, going on hikes, video games, and anything to do with dragons.

My whole life I have had a bit of an obsession with dragons, especially books that feature dragons. I remember pacing the library at school as a child, hoping to find a fantasy story I had not read yet, then usually settling with an old favorite like Dragon Bait.

Eventually my passion for dragon inclusive stories led me to write my own. I started my project back in high school and the Dragons of Angoleth series has evolved quite a lot since then. Call me crazy, but i have been working on perfecting the story for almost 20 years. It started as a class project short story and quickly changed into a full fledged novel. But, the good news is, it will not disappoint anyone who loves a good story full of memorable characters and dragons who can turn into humans.

Even now, I still collect anything and everything DRAGON to keep me inspired. Some say I am a dragon expert, but I'm not so sure about that title, haha. I'd rather just say I am a dragon in a human body. Yeah, that sounds much cooler.

I am also very passionate about wildlife and one of my favorite animals are wolves. So I wrote my novel Wolf's Blood with the intent of bringing some awareness to wildlife conservation in a fun, fantasy-like way.

Although I currently struggle in the finance department, it is my goal to eventually use the sales from this book to donate to wolf rescues throughout the USA. Most animal rescues are extremely under funded and I would love to do my part in helping them in what small ways that I can.
